In 2013, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro was one of the most visited cellars in the Ribera del Duero
According to the report released by Ruta de Vino Ribera del Duero, the cellars it represents set a new record with around 180,000 visits in 2013, a “spectacular growth”.
The report figures reveal that the number of visitors has tripled in five years, showing the incredible success in terms of visitors the region’s wine culture has experiencing over the past few years, with an average yearly increase of 30 percent.
The cellars belonging to the Ruta del Vino Ribera del Duero recorded a total of 180,000 visits in 2013, representing a growth of 36.01 percent—the highest in the last five years—compared to 2012. This positive development occurred year after year, tripling the figures from five years ago.
For example, in 2009, the Ruta cellars recorded 65,004 visits, a figure that rose to 83,110 in 2010 and jumped to 112,255 in 2011. In the following year, 2012, this figure increased by 35 percent, totalling 132,300 visits, and in 2013 the number rose to 180,038, being the highest figure recorded in recent years.
Arzuaga Navarro is one of the three most visited cellars of the Ruta del Vino Ribera del Duero and was awarded the Bodega Top 2013 distinction for ranking second among cellars.
